Specialized Solution Helps California Co-Packer
“We were using a conventional system not built for our type of organization,” said Cameron Dube of Universal Container. “One of our biggest problems was not being able to manage inventory and production in the same system. Now, we can use PackManager to maintain accurate inventory and manage production more efficiently, all in one system.” Universal Container & Packaging switched from a manufacturing ERP system to PackManager, an enterprise performance management (EPM) solution built specifically for contract packaging operations. Along with end-to-end workflow functions such as estimating, PackManager provides the company with real-time visibility of its shop floor and inventory. This enables Universal Container & Packaging to deliver more precise and improved customer service. In addition to managing in-house operations, PackManager was selected for its integration capabilities. Nulogy is currently spearheading an initiative to allow Universal Container & Packaging to more seamlessly interact with customers and their systems.
