Don’t try to boil the ocean. Implementing any new system starts simple with one KPI that has been earmarked for improvement. It’s easy to measure the ROI of production monitoring software when the problems being solved are measurable. Start with the essential data and actively include your operators in the conversation. Involve them in the feedback process with daily production meetings and fine-tune a dashboard that actually help them (and you) do your jobs. The journey towards continuous improvement never ends, but it starts with a good workplace culture and a way to measure if you’re going in the right direction.
