In one packed session, attendees discovered how Colgate-Palmolive is gaining real-time visibility within its supply ecosystem and installing dynamic collaboration among its partners by implementing multi-enterprise collaborative manufacturing. German Vizcaya, Vice President Global Planning at Colgate-Palmolive, joined Nulogy’s Vice President of Product Marketing and Go-to-market, Christine Barnhart along with Nulogy Co-founder & Chief Product Officer, Kevin Wong, to discuss how Colgate Palmolive Achieves Digital Transformation Throughout Its Supply Ecosystem when powered by the Nulogy Platform.
The 2023 ASCM Awards of Excellence celebrated outstanding achievements in the supply chain field. Corporate winners included Keysight Technologies, honored for their transformation through ASCM global standards and resources. Teva Pharmaceuticals received recognition for their commitment to learning and development through ASCM team training, while Lenovo International Services Supply Chain was acknowledged for their sustainability efforts, including zero waste initiatives and carbon emissions reduction.
Individual awards went to Sang Park, recognized as a Supply Chain Leader for his leadership and contributions. Danielle Malave received the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion award for fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Jeremy Codiroli was celebrated as an Emerging Supply Chain Leader for inspiring innovation.
A highlight of ASCM CONNECT 2023 was the Women in Supply Chain panel focused the increasing presence of women in a male-dominated industry. Moderator Elizabeth Rennie and panelists, including Nulogy’s own Christine Barnhart and others from Northrop Grumman, UScellular, and DuPont, shared their experiences and emphasized the importance of networking, self-advocacy, and creating inclusive workplaces. Barnhart encouraged building a supportive network, while Ngah stressed nurturing relationships. Tips for women in the profession included continuous learning, problem-solving skills, embracing setbacks, and supporting fellow women.
Next year’s ASCM Connect conference will take place in Austin, Texas, September 9-11, 2024.
