Nora is the Manufacturing AI Assistant Built into Your Operation
Ask a question in plain English. Nora answers from your live production and maintenance data, shows you the chart, and takes the next step. She is built into the operation, not bolted on, so the answers come from your real data instead of guesses. Live today in Smart Factory and Maintenance.
Your data stays yours. Nora works on the data already in your system to answer questions about your operation, never fabricates a number, and your data is never used to train outside models.

One Question. A Real Answer, a Chart, and the Next Step.
Nora reads your live operation the way a good shift lead reads the floor. Ask about OEE, downtime, or an open work order and she pulls the data, shows the trend, and offers to act on it. This is live in Smart Factory.

What is a Manufacturing AI Assistant?
A manufacturing AI assistant is software that lets people on the plant floor ask questions about their operation in plain language and get answers from live production data, instead of building a report or digging through a dashboard. The useful ones do more than answer. They act, turning what they find into a task or a work order.
A general chatbot can draft an email. It cannot tell you why Line 3 slowed down last night, because it has no connection to your machines, your downtime reasons, or your maintenance orders. That is the difference. A manufacturing AI assistant is only as good as the data underneath it, and it has to understand how a plant actually runs.
What Separates a Real One from a Wrapper
The market is filling up with generic assistants dressed in a manufacturing skin. Four things tell them apart:
- It answers from your live data, not the public internet. The number comes from your lines, your shifts, and your machines, as they run.
- It understands manufacturing context. OEE, availability losses, downtime reason codes, work orders, and assets are concepts it reasons about, not words it has read.
- It can act, not just answer. It creates a task or opens a maintenance order from what it finds, so the problem moves toward a fix.
- It does not make things up. When the data is not there, it says so, rather than inventing a plausible number.
Nora is built to all four. The next section is the reason it can be.
Why Nora is Different
Built into Your Operation, Not Bolted On
Most manufacturing AI is added to one system after the fact, so it only ever sees a slice. Nora reasons over one connected operating system. Because Nulogy runs production and maintenance on a single data model, Nora can answer a question that crosses both.
Sits on top of one tool. Sees production or maintenance, never the link between them. Answers are only as connected as the system it was strapped to.
Reasons over the same connected data your operation already produces, so a single question can span the line, the downtime reason, and the open work order.
Ask: "Line 2 keeps going down. What's happening?"
- Nora pulls the downtime for Line 2 and finds the pattern.
- She checks for open maintenance orders on the same assets.
- She flags what is going unaddressed, so the fix moves, not just the log.
One question crossed the line that usually separates production from maintenance. AI is only as good as the data beneath it, and Nora sits on connected data, not four systems stitched together by spreadsheets.
How It Works
Ask. Answer. Act.
Ask
Ask in plain English. "What was OEE on packaging yesterday?" "Which line had the most downtime last week?" No query builder, no dashboard to filter.
Answer
Nora answers from your live production and maintenance data and shows the chart with it. The number arrives with the context behind it, in seconds.
Act
Nora takes the next step without leaving the chat: create a task, or open a maintenance order with root-cause detail. The problem gets fixed, not just logged.
Nora by Role
The Whole Team Asks. Nora Answers in Their Language.
From the operator at the machine to the plant manager reviewing the week, everyone gets the same fast, sourced answer, without opening a report or pinging another department. The answers come from your live Smart Factory and Maintenance data.
Shift Supervisor
What was OEE on packaging yesterday?
Gives the OEE breakdown, compares it to target, and offers to investigate the downtime that pulled it down.
Plant Manager
Which line had the most downtime last week?
Returns a ranked list with the top reasons and a chart, so the Monday review starts with the answer, not the hunt.
Maintenance Lead
Show me overdue maintenance orders.
Filters to a list with task numbers, assets, and assignees, and can open a new order with root-cause detail on the spot.
Operator
Is there an open work order for the filler?
Answers yes or no with the task details, status, and assignee, so the operator knows if the fix is already moving.
Your Data, Your Control
AI You Can Actually Trust on the Floor.
Never Trains Outside Models
Your production and maintenance data is never used to train external AI models. It stays inside your operation.
No Made-Up Answers
Nora answers from your real data or says she cannot. She does not fabricate a number to fill a gap.
Speaks Your Plant's Language
Nora learns your line names, part numbers, and reason codes, so the answers match how your floor actually talks.

Manufacturing AI Assistant FAQ
A manufacturing AI assistant lets people on the plant floor ask questions about their operation in plain language and get answers from live production data, instead of building a report or digging through a dashboard. The useful ones also act, turning what they find into a task or a maintenance order. Nora is Nulogy's manufacturing AI assistant, live in Smart Factory and Maintenance.
Nora is the manufacturing AI assistant in Nulogy Intelligence, the AI layer of the Manufacturing Operating System. Ask in plain English and Nora answers from your live operations data, shows the chart, and can take the next step, like creating a task or opening a maintenance order.
A general chatbot is trained on the public internet and cannot see your plant. Nora is built into one connected operating system and reasons over your live production and maintenance data. It understands manufacturing concepts like OEE, downtime reasons, and work orders, it can act on what it finds, and it does not fabricate answers when the data is not there.
Today Nora answers questions about OEE, downtime, quality, and maintenance from live plant data, shows the chart, and acts: it creates tasks to drive continuous improvement and opens maintenance orders with root-cause detail. This is live in Smart Factory and Maintenance.
Nora works on the data already in your system, so its answers are specific to your operation, and that data stays yours. It is never used to train external or shared AI models, and Nora does not fabricate an answer when the data is not there.
