It assesses the competence, reliability and integrity of organizations that deliver certification, inspection, testing and calibration services, from the pathology tests behind NHS diagnoses to solid fuel testing for the renewable energy sector. UKAS has more than 500 employees and conducts more than 30,000 assessment days each year.
Disparate systems slowing down accreditation
UKAS ran audits and assessments across spreadsheets, emails and Word documents. With no clear view of audit status, it was hard to monitor auditor and client performance.
