Short stops nobody was counting
Oral Biotech relied heavily on hourly manual reporting that did not capture short stops during production. The team had no way of knowing how much those stops were holding back production efficiency.
Its previous monitoring software was also hard to work with, with wired hardware that had to be plugged in across the plant.
Before, we were running close to 60% OEE on one of our lines, and now, we’re up close to 80% OEE.

Smart Factory integrates with Oral Biotech’s NetSuite ERP, and wireless sensors replaced the wired setup of its previous software.
