Tacony’s West Chicago furniture plant was wrestling with a 14-week order backlog caused by production inefficiencies, representing hundreds of thousands of dollars in unrealized revenue.
The plant had no clear view of its production metrics, and no data to show what had to change to produce enough output to clear the backlog.
